Suzy Walz, RN, BSN, CCHt.

SuzySuzy graduated from the University of San Francisco with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing.  She spent over 20 years working across the country, in a variety of settings, from Intensive Care Units to rural country hospitals.  Realizing that there are many factors involved with illness and disease, she graduated from the Colorado School of Counseling Hypnotherapy so that she may help people improve their life experience.  Suzy owns a private hypnotherapy practice in Evergreen, Colorado; Whole Health Hypnotherapy.

An empowered woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and business owner, Suzy enjoys learning what marriage means to her as she expands her view of romantic love and relationship. Parenting, Suzy quickly admits, has been the most challenging tool for personal growth. Easy to be with and easy to feel supported by, Suzy is passionate about bringing people and ideas together to maximize each component, passionate about bringing out the best in everyone she comes in contact with, and a powerful personal-expansion facilitator.

Her support of other’s empowerment is underlined in her own life through her passion for pushing past her physical boundaries as she became an accomplished female skier, completed triathlons and 12 hour adventure races, finished the Colorado Triple Bypass bike race, and added marathons to her list of accomplishments.

Her love for people and her unquestioning acceptance of everyone’s ability to express their full potential is reflected in her own words,

"Through the work I've done, I've come to believe that we all hold the keys for our own healing within us.  My life's work is dedicated to helping people grow, heal and find their healthy balance within.  By accessing the subconscious, you can make changes on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level that can drastically improve the quality of your life. You CAN live the life of your dreams."

"I love the simplicity of the process that Empowerment Through My Subconscious provides.  It allows anyone access to their whole mind; access to their true power. It is a wonderful vehicle to begin the empowerment journey, find answers to difficult questions, or to overcome obstacles that have been blocking your path to fulfillment. Teaching this material is a perfect fit for me."

We are honored to have Suzy Walz as part of our team.

Taya Ann Sedam- In her own words!

TayaGrowing up in southern California, I was raised by my father and step mom, who were both teachers and working on their masters degrees in psychology. There were 5 younger brothers and sisters.   I saw my birth-mother on the weekends, when she usually took my cousin and me on all kinds of adventures.  Life as a step child with a "smug" step-mom was emotionally painful--enough that I sought deep understanding since age 8 on. I was sent off to a church on Sundays, but the rest of the family only went on the holidays. In my high school years I learned a lot from our young minister's sermons relating biblical stories to contemporary studies of human relationships and inspiring personal enhancement. I applied each new lesson to my life every week, and my life, or at least my perception of it, improved.  In my late teens I left my religious beliefs to focus on my education and employment opportunities.

After an Associate of Arts degree and a couple of years as a flight attendant, I found myself in Santa Barbara in the midst of the 70s revolution.  The then "love of my life" left me for "free love."  Soon after that let down, I again sought understanding, this time through a structured, applied religious philosophy.  During the 10 years of studying body- mind- spirit relationships and applications, communication, study technology, ethics and some business administration along with concentrated processing of my own life, my quest for understanding was taken far beyond my wildest dreams!  I became a part-time minister and helped others to become more aware and spiritually free.  I also taught fine art to adults in Los Angeles at a private school.

By my early 30's I felt spiritually free, confident, and competent. I was ready to go further out into the world and play!  I had "graduated" from studying, analyzing, looking, and processing myself for a while.  A dear friend had rekindled my love of nature, so I had a few adventures in Europe and Hawaii, and after spending a winter in New Hampshire, I moved to Colorado to explore and share some outdoor adventures with like-minded people. Back country skiing and river rafting trips offered intimate experiences with the beauty and power of mother-nature as well as lessons in group dynamics. During this time I also became a massage therapist and studied fitness and nutrition.

As learning comes in cycles, in time the need for more dedicated self-looking followed plain "life and livingness." I was finding that relationships, especially those with men, presented great opportunities for personal growth, though some of those opportunities were painful. Part of my growth in relationships showed me that my wish to understand relationship was fueled by my desire to be loved and I learned to take responsibility --not only for what I was experiencing but how I experienced it.  That was empowering because as I took more responsibility for my experience I became increasingly capable of manifesting what I postulated!

My marriage of 12 years has also been a great adventure filled with many opportunities for personal growth and "love lessons."  Together, my husband and I have outfitted river expeditions, built a house, overcome addiction, traveled around the country, and have learned more than how to get along: through anger and tears, difference and laughter, we have learned to deeply love one another.

As a result of the multiple experiences and interests of my life, teaching and change come naturally for me.  I’ve felt fortunate with all the help and support along my path, so it's been easy for me to want to share what I've learned with others. In the past year, as I have applied the "Empowerment Through My Subconscious System" to my life, I have found directions opening up that I never would have imagined without the integration I’ve experienced through it. I know that using this workbook makes it possible for me to reach people spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically in a loving, simple and effective way.

I am excited about participating with people as they allow their lives to unfold their wildest dreams and beyond!
